The coolest gadgets our panel had seen this week. Includes Nick showing us some hot new cameras from the likes of Samsung and Sony, Joe talking about the upcoming HTC Hero, Gus complains about Sydney public transport, and Nick shows us the LiveScribe smartpen.

Also includes our Best. Thing. Ever. Of the Week. This time it’s the amazing Nikon S1000pj, the first compact digital camera with built in pico-projection technology for projecting your photos and videos onto any surface right off the camera.

Tonight’s Byteside Tech features Nick Broughall from Gizmodo Australia, Angus Kidman from Lifehacker Australia, Joseph Hanlon from CNET Australia, and Nick Ross from The Overclocker.

Byteside Tech is supported by Sennheiser and Trend Micro.

That LiveScribe thing was intense, man. A journo’s dream. I can understand why Nick B was so worked up about it.

But I got the feeling like he and I were 2 of the only people in the world who really appreciated it :(
